Oakley Design has a fascination with the world of motor racing; the aura of race day, the sights, sounds and smells combine to create a very special ambience. These are powerful emotions.

The race track is the ultimate test facility; an environment where only the best will do. This is why innovation of every Oakley performance product begins at the circuit. Each product undergoes extensive research and development before being rigorously tested on the track. We then submit our products to the ultimate environment, to walk the walk, make ourselves accountable; this is why we race.

In order to showcase our products, to demonstrate our belief in what we do, Oakley Design is committed to GT Racing. 2008 will see Oakley Racing’s Porsche 997 GT3 feature in a variety of top class European GT events, including the Dutch Supercar Challenge, Belcar, GT Open, VdeV and the Proximus 24hr.

There is one competition though which defines the ultimate test of driver skill, team involvement and product durability; this is of course is the Le Mans 24hrs.

Oakley Racing has a 5 year strategy in place to reach Le Mans.
